本周三（2月12日）， 百度 夜盘拉涨超3%，消息称百度计划今年下半年发布下一代人工智能模型Ernie 5.0。
据知情人士透露，百度计划在今年下半年发布下一代人工智能模型。消息人士称，被称为“基础模型”的Ernie 5.0，将在多模态能力方面有重大增强，但没有具体说明其功能。
“多模态”人工智能可以处理文本、视频、图像和音频，并将它们组合在一起，也可以跨类别转换——例如，文本转换为视频，反之亦然。
基础模型可以理解语言并执行广泛的任务，包括生成文本和图像，以及用自然语言进行交流。目前，中国公司正在竞相开发创新的人工智能模型，以与OpenAI和其他美国公司竞争。
