黄仁勋：核电是满足数据中心爆炸式增长能源需求的优秀选择
据彭博社北京时间昨日报道，英伟达 CEO 黄仁勋在接受彭博电视台采访时表示，核电是满足数据中心节节增长能源需求的一种优秀选择。
黄仁勋称核能是一种出色的可再生能源但不会成为唯一选择；数据中心行业需要各种类型的能源，并在这些能源的可用性、成本以及随时间推移的可持续性之间取得平衡。
随着全球科技巨头在 AI 基础设施领域投资数千亿美元，数量不断增多、规模不断膨胀的数据中心正对所在地的供电能力提出前所未有的高要求，激化了当地的电力供需矛盾。
建设者在此背景下不得不在 AI 数据中心的选址与运营上多加权衡：某些地区无法额外新建数据中心、部分数据中心设在远离传统人口中心的位置、一些算力基础设施无法满负荷运行。
正因如此，核电正成为 AI 行业认真考虑的能源选项：微软就同能源企业 Constellation Energy 达成了 20 年协议，为旗下数据中心购买美国三里岛核电站重启后生产的全部电力。
黄仁勋还提到，虽然英伟达的最新一代 AI 算力硬件功耗超过前代产品，但实际上效率更高，因为其可更快完成 AI 模型的训练与推理工作负载，替换多个旧组件。
