Intel rose 5% in overnight trading. Rumors are swirling about a possible takeover of Intel. Nothing has been inked, but Broadcom and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) both are in the early stages of proposing potential deals, according to The Wall Street Journal. Broadcom could potentially seek a deal for Intel’s chip design assets, while TSMC eyes its manufacturing capabilities.
Medical AI stocks soared in overnight trading. Recursion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. rose 13%; Firefly Neuroscience, Inc. rose 5%; Hims & Hers Health Inc. rose 4%; CRISPR Therapeutics AG rose 2%.
NEBIUS shares up nearly 9% in overnight trading after Nvidia added a stake in Nebius. Nebius provides AI data center infrastructure. Its core business is an AI-centric cloud platform built for intensive AI workloads.
Constellation Brands stock rose 9% in overnight trading. Berkshire unveiled a new position in Constellation Brands, which sells Modelo and Corona beer in the U.S., worth $1.2 billion at the end of December. It sold off its shares of Ulta Beauty.
Grab Holdings Holdings stock soared 13% before reporting earnings after the market closes this Wednesday.
