上周五，SMR开发商Oklo（OKLO）的股价在五天内几乎翻倍，同类公司NuScale Power（SMR）也上涨近29%。此前，X-energy和Kairos Power等私人SMR开发商达成融资协议，进一步推动了该领域的增长。
包括BWXT Technologies（BWXT）、Cameco（CCJ）、Constellation Energy（CEG）、NuScale和Oklo在内的核能公司上周均创下历史新高。
Constellation Energy今年股价翻倍，该公司运营着美国最大的传统核反应堆机组。上个月，Constellation与微软（MSFT）签署了一项为期20年的供电协议，推动该公司重新启动宾夕法尼亚州三里岛核电站，该电站曾是1979年美国最严重核事故的现场。
本月早些时候，美国总统拜登的首席气候顾问Ali Zaidi表示，政府正在努力重新启用核电站，以满足日益增长的无排放电力需求。他还透露，美国海军正探索在部分基地建设SMR的可能性，预计这些技术将在本十年内得到应用。
