据消息,迪士尼公司将与体育流媒体服务商FuboTV达成合作协议,将Disney旗下的Hulu+直播电视业务与FuboTV合并,成立一家新的合资视频公司。
具体内容包括:迪士尼将把Hulu+Live TV业务并入FuboTV,持有新合资公司70%股权,FuboTV持有其余30%。新合资企业将继续以Fubo和Hulu Live两个品牌运营,成为仅次于YouTube TV的北美第二大数字付费电视提供商,用户约600万。
作为交易的一部分,FuboTV将放弃之前对迪士尼等三大媒体公司就成立体育流媒体平台Venu Sports的反垄断诉讼。双方最快或于本周正式宣布合作细节。
消息公布后,受到激励,FuboTV周一盘中大涨251.39%,盘后继续大涨15%以上。分析人士认为,此次合作将进一步增强FuboTV在竞争激烈的体育流媒体市场中的地位,从而提振了市场对其长期增长潜力的信心。
