Teladoc Health Inc. (TDOC) saw its stock soar 6.8% in the after-hours session on Monday, following an announcement of a new collaboration with Amazon (AMZN) to expand access to Teladoc's cardiometabolic programs.
The partnership allows eligible Amazon customers to directly find and enroll in Teladoc's diabetes, hypertension, pre-diabetes, and weight management programs through Amazon's Health Benefits Connector. This streamlines the enrollment process and improves accessibility to Teladoc's virtual chronic care solutions.
According to Teladoc CEO Chuck Divita, the collaboration aligns with the company's strategy to deliver greater value across its integrated offerings. By enabling seamless program discovery and enrollment on Amazon's platform, the partnership aims to help more people conveniently manage their health conditions.
