最新公布的数据显示，美国2月未季调CPI年率录得2.8%，为去年11月来新低；美国2月季调后CPI月率录得0.2%，为去年10月来新低。
此外，美国2月未季调核心CPI年率录得3.1%，2021年4月来新低；美国2月季调后核心CPI月率录得0.2%，为去年12月来新低。
整体指标中近一半的增长是由于住房。虽然周三的报告让人松了一口气，但几项指标仍然表明，通胀正在再次抬头。随着特朗普总统推出一系列关税，预计从食品到服装等各种商品的价格将上涨，这将考验消费者和整体经济的弹性。
美国CPI数据公布后，美股三大股指期货涨幅略有扩大，现货黄金短线上涨6美元，报2918.46美元/盎司；美元指数DXY短线下挫超30点，报103.34；交易员们加大了对美联储今年至少降息两次的押注。
分析师Chris Anstey表示，美国国债收益率正在快速下降。美国两年期国债当日从上涨4个基点转为下跌3个基点。CPI弱于预期是个好消息，特别是因为经济学家们一直警告说，季节性调整因素可能导致今天的数据比预期的要火热。
“通胀高于美联储目标的时间越长，即便是由于关税等暂时性因素，预期转向上行的可能性就越大，”美银证券美国分析师Stephen Juneau表示。“如果发生这种情况，恢复价格稳定对美联储来说将会困难得多。”
分析师Tatiana Darie表示，美国2月所有通胀指标均低于预期，美国国债收益率今日全日走低，而标准普尔500指数期货大幅上涨。这推翻了自特朗普关税冲击以来越来越受欢迎的滞胀说法。
