The homebuilder reported earnings per share (EPS) of $0.10 for the quarter, falling significantly short of analysts' consensus estimate of $0.31. Revenue for the quarter came in at $460.4 million, missing the expected $463.544 million.
The disappointing results weighed heavily on investor sentiment, with the company's stock price taking a substantial hit in after-hours trading. The company's homebuilding gross margin and adjusted EBITDA for the quarter were 15.2% and $23 million, respectively.
