特朗普发行的代币“TRUMP”进一步下跌，从峰值下跌达到惊人的75%。根据三家区块链分析公司的估计，特朗普的加密货币背后的实体在不到两周的时间里赚取了近1亿美元的交易费，这是一笔巨大的意外之财，但成千上万的小交易员承受了亏损。
特朗普于1月17日推出了名为“TRUMP”的代币，并迅速飙升。包括Merkle Science和Chainalysis在内的三家加密数据公司分析了区块链，显示涉及“TRUMP”的所有交易。他们估计，截至1月30日，“TRUMP”代币已经产生了8600万至1亿美元的交易费。这远远超过此前报道的数字。这种加密货币背后的实体之一是特朗普拥有的一家名为CIC Digital的公司。
