华泰证券最新研报指出，2024年煤炭进口量预计达到5.4亿吨，约占国内煤炭总供给的10.2%。在国内煤炭需求仍有增量的情况下，进口煤成为供给的重要补充。研报认为，进口煤潜在的减量趋势可能有助于短期内煤价企稳。随着下半年旺季来临以及数据中心等新需求加速释放，煤价有望稳步回升。分析师特别看好长协销售比例较高的一体化龙头公司，认为这些公司在煤价低位阶段仍能保持较强的盈利能力和现金流韧性。
