美联储表示，正在撤销两份监管函，这些文件规定银行在从事加密资产和稳定币活动之前应获得监管机构的批准。
此外，美联储加入了美国联邦存款保险公司和货币监理署的行列，撤回了2023年的两份声明，这些声明敦促银行对加密货币相关风险保持警惕。
根据先前的指导意见，监管机构警告银行在考虑是否提供加密相关服务或接受加密公司作为客户时，要警惕波动性、法律不确定性和流动性风险。
撤销这一指导意见标志着特朗普政府对加密货币采取了更友好立场的最新举措。美联储在宣布这些变化的声明中表示，监管机构将调查新的指导意见是否“支持包括加密资产活动在内的创新”。
今年3月，美国货币监理署成为首个采取行动放松银行参与加密货币活动的监管机构，同时还废除了上届美国政府敦促银行在加密领域保持谨慎的指导方针。
