加拿大通信服务商加拿大贝尔(BCE)7日盘中股价大跌5.03%,跌至27.30美元/股,成为市场焦点。此前该公司宣布将斥资36.5亿美元全资收购美国宽带运营商Ziply Fiber,以扩大其光纤业务在美国的版图。
加拿大贝尔是加拿大三大无线运营商之一,业务覆盖加拿大东部多个省份。此次收购消息一经宣布便引发投资者担忧。一方面,360亿美元的高昂收购费用将可能影响公司未来的现金流及投资回报;另一方面,收购项目是否能顺利整合完成及取得预期效益也存在不确定性。
不过,加拿大贝尔表示,此项收购将利用其此前出售枫叶体育娱乐公司所得资金来支付,预计不会对公司现金流和股息政策造成重大影响。该公司计划在2025财年将年度普通股股息维持在每股3.99美元的水平。
