几名参加礼来新一代减肥药Retatrutide三期试验的患者表示，虽然他们看到体重出现了显著下降，但该药物也带来了明显的副作用。
几名不愿透露姓名的试验参与者表示，他们经历的副作用包括恶心和肾结石。另一名试验参与者表示，其体重下降了很多，医生告诉他要多吃高热量的食物。不过，由于试验是随机和安慰剂对照，参与者不知道他们接受的药物是Retatrutide还是安慰剂。
据悉，三名参与者的体重减轻情况分别是：在9个月内减重22%，在8个月内减重30%，以及在8-9个月内减重31%。除了体重减轻之外，患者还注意到试验中其他一些积极的影响，膝盖疼痛、高胆固醇和脂肪肝疾病都得到了改善。
礼来正在研发的GLP-1/GIP/GCG三靶点激动剂Retatrutide被视为迭代替尔泊肽的下一代产品。试验数据显示，相比替尔泊肽(礼来重磅减肥药Zepbound的有效成分)，Retatrutide的2期数据表现更加惊人——在2期临床试验中，Retatrutide的平均体重减轻率从基线(最初的体重)开始，在24周时为17.5%，在48周时为24.2%。
