Shares of Pathward Financial (CASH.OQ) tumbled 5.56% on Wednesday after the company reported mixed results for the third quarter of 2024, missing Wall Street's earnings expectations.
The financial services firm posted adjusted earnings of $1.35 per share for the quarter ended September 30, narrowly beating analysts' average estimate of $1.28 per share. However, the earnings fell short of the $1.36 per share reported in the same quarter last year, indicating a year-over-year decline in profitability.
