老多米尼克货运公司(Old Dominion Freight Line, ODFL)23日盘前大跌近6%,此前公司公布的第三季度财报显示,受制于经济疲软导致货运需求下滑,公司收入和利润均出现不同程度的下降。
财报显示,第三季度ODFL总收入同比下降3%至14.7亿美元,每股利润下跌7.1%至1.43美元。公司运营比率也从去年同期的70.6%恶化至72.7%。公司解释称,收入下降主要是由于每日零担货运吨数下降4.8%,每日零担货运量下降3.4%,零担货运单件重量则减少1.4%。
ODFL董事长马蒂-弗里曼表示,公司业绩反映了当前国内经济持续疲软的状况。分析人士预期,这种疲软的需求环境将持续到今年下半年,并预计2025年可能会有所改善。
