Shares of SoundHound AI Inc (SOUN) rallied 5.73% in the pre-market and intraday trading session on Monday, driven by the company's stellar fourth quarter 2024 earnings results and an upward revision to its 2025 revenue guidance.
The artificial intelligence company reported better-than-expected financial results for Q4 after the market close on Friday. SOUN posted a narrower-than-anticipated loss of $0.05 per share, compared to analysts' estimates of an $0.08 loss. More impressively, revenue soared 101% year-over-year to $34.5 million, surpassing Wall Street's projections by $0.84 million.
Building on this strong momentum, SoundHound AI raised its 2025 revenue guidance range to $157 million - $177 million, up from the previous range of $155 million - $175 million. The company's CEO cited major customer wins, expanded partnerships, groundbreaking innovations in generative AI, and strategic acquisitions as key drivers fueling this growth.
