Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste Reports 2.8% Decline in August Passenger Traffic

Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (ASR) said late Thursday the August passenger traffic reached about 6.2 million, a decline of 2.8% from a year earlier.

The airport group with operations in Mexico, the US and Colombia said the headline traffic figures include over 16% jump in Colombia, a 1.6% increase in Puerto Rico and an almost 11% drop in Mexico.

The data showed domestic traffic fell 1.2% and international traffic was down 5.9% year-over-year.
