WSJ 此前披露，Ruairi Donnell 在 FTX 任职期间获得了约 562,000 美元的薪水，并以 0.05 美元的价格兑换成 FTX Token（FTT），但普通投资者却无法用这个价格购买 FTT。
Ruairi Donnelly 将这些代币“捐赠”给了 Polaris Ventures，在 2019 年和 2020 年公开交易开始后以 1 美元的价格出售，据报道，在公众对 FTX 和 Alameda 的审查中，Ruairi Donnelly 试图寻求套现 1.5 亿美元。
Ruairi Donnelly 的法律团队表示，该慈善机构的 FTT 代币“不是 FTX 的资金”，似乎不受其他方的索赔。不过，FTX 债务人表示，他们将“安排归还”捐赠给慈善机构或政治运动的资金，并建议采取法律行动，以在任何团体拒绝的情况下获得利息支付。
