Korea-U.S. Economic Security Conference 2024 Explores Joint Efforts on Global Economic Security Agendas
The Korea-U.S. Economic Security Conference 2024, which took place in Washington, D.C. earlier this week, discussed global economic security issues, including export controls and supply chains, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said Wednesday.
South Korea's Trade Minister Inkyo Cheong and US Under Secretary Alan Estevez attended the conference.
The Korea Strategic Trade Institute and the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies entered a memorandum of understanding for cooperation on economic security research ahead, on the sidelines of the conference, the release said.
