比推消息，《华尔街日报》（WSJ）发文表示，Tether（USDT）正在破坏美国打击军火商、制裁破坏者和诈骗者的斗争。2023年，通过Tether网络流动的资金几乎与通过Visa卡的一样多，全年净利润达62亿美元，已经超越了资管巨头贝莱德（普通股股东净利润55亿美元），但Tether的员工数量（不足100人）只是贝莱德的一小部分。文章指出，Tether虽然会审查直接客户的身份，但其庞大的二级市场却不受监管。根据联合国今年1月的一份报告称，USDT是东南亚洗钱的“首选”。
