Metallurgical Corporation of China (SHA:601618, HKG:1618) or MCC signed new contracts worth 831.1 billion yuan between January and August, with the value dropping 6.5% year on year, according to a Sept. 13 disclosure on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The amount included nearly 59 billion yuan worth of newly signed overseas contracts, which jumped 85.1% from the prior year.
For August alone, the Chinese iron and steel company signed three projects.
Shares of the company slipped less than 2% on the Hong Kong bourse.
