Cathay Pacific Airways Repurchase All Issued Warrants for HK$1.53 Billion

Cathay Pacific Airways (HKG:0293) completed the repurchase of all the issued warrants on Friday, Sept. 13, for a little over HK$1.53 billion, a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

The company issued 416,666,666 unlisted warrants to subscribe for shares with an exercise price of HK$4.68 per share, for HK$1.95 billion to Aviation 2020 on Aug. 12, 2020.

On Aug. 30, the company had entered into a repurchase agreement with the warrant holder to repurchase all the issued warrants for a price somewhere between HK$1.53 billion and HK$1.88 billion.
