Red Mountain Mining (ASX:RMX) completed the initial phase of rock chip and soil sampling at the Kiabye gold project in Western Australia, covering four exploration licenses in the central portion of the Kiabye Greenstone Belt, according to a Friday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
The program included soil sampling over 658 planned sites and 44 rock chip samples over quartz veins, sheared, and altered rocks, the filing said.
Samples have been submitted to Intertek Laboratories for analysis, with assay results to be released in early October.
