Woodside Energy, Santos Shares Rise Alongside Crude Oil Prices
Shares in Australian oil and gas giants Woodside Energy Group (ASX:WDS) and Santos (ASX:STO) traded 1.7% and 1.5% higher respectively in Friday trade as the price of Brent crude oil rose 0.47% to $72.31 per barrel and the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil price rose 0.49% to $69.31, according to the Australian stock exchange and MarketWatch.
Woodside operates in Australia, the US Gulf of Mexico, Africa and the Caribbean and Santos operates in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste and the US.
