Towngas Smart Energy (HKG:1083) completed a bespoke energy facility for an automobile plant in Shenzhen using its energy-as-a-service model, The Standard reported Monday.
The facility is seen to produce 8.8 million kilowatt-hours of green power and help save up to 2 million yuan in electricity costs.
The project comprises solar panels on the 75,000-square-meter rooftop, an energy storage facility for excess solar power, and a virtual power plant that analyzes electricity usage data, the report said.
