Pantoro (ASX:PNR) started a drilling campaign in the Butterfly area of the Southern Mainfield at the Norseman gold project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The campaign is a combination of reverse circulation and diamond drilling and covers 35,000 meters, the filing said.
The gold explorer's shares were up 8% in recent Tuesday trade, hitting a fresh 52-week high.
