Chatham Rock Phosphate (NZE:CRP) disclosed in a Monday release that phosphate rock and rare earth minerals are now part of New Zealand's newly released critical minerals list.
The draft identified 35 minerals that are essential to New Zealand's economy, are in demand globally, and have high risks to supply, the release stated.
This is expected to improve environment approvals and other permitting process for projects tied to minerals that are on the list.
