United Energy Group (HKG:0467) appointed Yiu Chi Shing as the company's vice chairman, effective Sept. 18, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Yiu holds 5,983,681,397 ordinary shares of the company, representing 23.15% of the current issued share capital. He is also chairman of the board for the multifaceted firm TransGlobal Group (International), which operates in Hong Kong and mainland China. Yiu also serves as the vice chairman of integrated energy service provider Zhongyu Energy Holdings (HKG:3633).
