Anson Resources (ASX:ASN) is set to raise AU$5 million via the placement of 62 million shares priced at AU$0.08 apiece, according to a Friday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
The company is also undertaking a share purchase plan to raise up to a further AU$2 million, with the same terms as the placement, the filing said.
Proceeds will be used for Green River project development in Utah, pilot plant operations, as well as exploration at the Yellow Cat project in the US and critical minerals exploration in Australia, according to the filing.
Petra Capital, Canaccord Genuity Australia, and Blue Ocean Securities were the joint lead managers for the placement.
Anson Resources shares fell 10% in morning trade.
