【香港虚拟银行WeLab组建财团申请泰国数字银行牌照】金色财经报道，香港虚拟银行WeLab宣布和泰国金融科技公司Lighthub Asset合组财团，并已向泰国中央银行提交数字银行牌照申请，预计申请结果将在2025年上半年公布。据悉，Lightnet Group已获得了泰国央行以及其他四家亚洲和欧洲央行的牌照许可，其利用人工智能和区块链科技在150个国家提供全球支付解决方案，包括跨境汇款、电子钱包和多币种数字银行账户，该公司还得到了UOB Venture Management、Seven Bank、韩华投资证券、Uni-President和Raffles Family Office等战略投资。WeLab创办人及集团行政总裁龙沛智表示，期待着有机会在亚洲建立第三家数字银行，并使其成为泰国领先的数字银行。
