Vista Equity Partners has engaged Evercore (EVR) to sell Finastra's treasury and capital markets business, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Vista is in the early stages of evaluating a sale for the business that could potentially be sold for at least $2 billion, however, the private equity firm has not made a final decision and can still choose against divesting, the people reportedly said.
Finastra's treasury and capital markets business makes about $200 million in annual earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, Bloomberg reported, citing the people.
Vista, Evercore and Finastra did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
