SSR Mining (ASX:SSR) will resume operations at its Seabee mine in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan in the second half of October after last month's forest fire that suspended activities in the area, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The precious metals mining company said the process plant and Santoy mine were not materially impacted despite damages to some remote equipment. SSR Mining cleared employees to return to the site to conduct repairs.
Seabee's production and cost guidance will be updated with the miner's third-quarter financial results, the filing stated.
