探索在印度建芯片工厂！塔塔集团与芯片大厂ADI成立战略联盟
快科技9月22日消息，据媒体报道，印度塔塔集团近日与全球模拟芯片巨头ADI（Analog Devices Inc.）宣布建立战略联盟，共同探索在印度建立芯片制造工厂的可能性。
根据双方签署的谅解备忘录，塔塔集团旗下的塔塔电子、塔塔汽车和Tejas Networks将与ADI合作。
双方将探索在印度开展半导体制造业务的机会，以及在塔塔汽车的电动汽车和Tejas的网络基础设施中采用ADI的产品，此外，双方还计划就战略路线图进行深入讨论。
尽管目前尚未公布具体的合作时间表，以及这一合作对ADI现有资本支出计划和在美国、欧洲的芯片制造计划的影响，但双方对合作的潜力和前景充满信心。
塔塔集团主席N Chandrasekaran表示，塔塔集团致力于在印度建立繁荣的半导体行业，与ADI的合作将有助于在整个半导体价值链中实现这一目标。
ADI公司首席执行官Vincent Roche也强调，此次合作将推动印度半导体生态系统的发展，并加速电动汽车和下一代网络基础设施等尖端技术的创新。
印度政府近年来积极推动本土芯片制造业的发展，塔塔电子此前已宣布与中国台湾的力积电合作，在古吉拉特邦建设晶圆厂，并计划在阿萨姆邦建立半导体芯片的组装和测试工厂。
