BlockBeats 消息，9 月 27 日，据 TheBlock 报道，比特币矿企 Hut 8 宣布其新的 GPU 即服务 (GPUaaS) 业务开始产生收入。该服务为客户提供 GPU 计算能力租赁，支持 AI 处理等高性能任务。Hut 8 与 Hewlett Packard Enterprise 和 AdvizeX 合作，通过子公司 Highrise AI 设计并推出新的计算集群。这项为期五年的合作包括固定基础设施付款和与一家未具名 AI 云开发商的收入分享协议。
Hut 8 的 GPUaaS 集群部署在芝加哥的三级数据中心，由多台 HPE Cray 超级计算机组成，配备 1000 个 NVIDIA H100 GPU。Hut 8 CEO Asher Genoot 表示，GPU 即服务业务的推出进一步多样化了公司的计算层，现已涵盖 AI 计算、比特币挖矿和传统云服务。
