BlockBeats 消息，9 月 27 日，香港证监会主席雷添良今日出席活动致辞时表示，香港首批虚拟资产现货交易所买卖基金 (ETF) 在四月上市后交易一直有序运作，目前市值已超过三亿美元，加上首只亚洲虚拟资产期货 ETF 产品推出，可容许零售投资者管理相关风险，认为创新产品能推动香港金融市场继续向前。
雷添良强调，香港作为金融中心，需要继续透过创新科技、可持续金融等领域增强韧性，目前亦留意到区块链技术，可带来降低交易成本等潜在优势，当中资产及证券代币化可以成为其中一个主要用例，目前正与香港金管局紧密合作，探索更多不同代币化用例，期望能建立相关生态系统。雷添良还提醒虚拟资产有大幅波动的风险，不应成为投资建议，不过随着专业及零售投资者有不同风险胃纳，并透过不同渠道投资虚拟资产，因此香港证监会才决定引入监管框架管制有关交易平台活动。
