AGL Energy’s biggest shareholder, Mike Cannon-Brookes’ Grok Ventures, has refused to back the board on executive pay, two years after a spectacular boardroom upheaval forced by the software billionaire.
Grok, which owns about 10.4 per cent of AGL, abstained from voting on the utility’s remuneration report at its annual general meeting on Wednesday.
