Alto Metals (ASX:AME) said metallurgical test work at its Sandstone project in Western Australia returned gold recovery of up to 97% from gravity separation and cyanide leaching, according to a filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
The test work involved composite reverse circulation drill samples from the Indomitable deposit, which are typical examples of mineralization within the fresh rock at the deposit, the Tuesday filing said.
Meanwhile, a drilling program is underway at the project to test extensional targets beyond current mineral resources at the Vanguard, Ladybird, and Bull Oak deposits, including first-pass drilling at the Lightning prospect, according to the filing.
