【纽约梅隆银行正在推进加密ETF托管服务】金色财经报道，纽约梅隆银行（BNY）正推进为其交易所交易基金（ETF）客户提供比特币和以太坊托管服务。此前，美国证券交易委员会（SEC）在审查后决定，BNY无需遵守争议性加密资产会计规则SAB 121。 SAB 121自2022年引入后，一直要求托管加密资产的公司将其作为负债列入账目，给加密行业带来压力。SEC表示，BNY等银行的客户保护措施足够健全，因此允许其在会计处理上与传统托管安排一致。BNY仍需获得其他监管机构批准才能正式提供服务。
