格隆汇9月25日｜美国活跃投资公司Elliott将推动西南航空最快在下周召开股东特别大会，以更换董事会成员。Elliott合伙人John Pike及基金经理Bobby Xu，周二向西南航空股东发表公开信，表明改革公司管理层的做法具有迫切性，将推动公司尽快召开股东特别大会，以处理董事会改组事宜，最快应在下周举行。不过，公司与提出要求的股东须进行商讨，相信难以在短期内决定股东特别大会的召开时间。西南航空将于周三公布编更修订资料。此前公司已表明有意改变经营策略，主席Gary Kelly将于明年离职。不过，集团行政总裁Robert Jordan未有意愿离职。
