Ondas Holdings (ONDS) said Monday that its Airobotics unit has received a $5.4 million order from a "major defense customer" for its Optimus System, which has performed operational drone flights without human intervention.
The Optimus System will be used for asset protection and aerial border security, Ondas said.
Shares of Ondas were up more than 17% in recent trading.
