智通财经获悉，媒体援引知情人士的话称，对冲基金Glenview Capital Management将于周一与西维斯健康(CVS.US)的高管会面，提出改善运营的建议。此次会议召开之际，由创始人Larry Robbins领导的Glenview已向西维斯健康投资了约7亿美元，这是他旗下规模25亿美元对冲基金的很大一部分。目前，Glenview持有西维斯健康约1%的流通股。西维斯健康的市值为772亿美元。
报道援引知情人士的话称，Glenview的持仓表明，Robbins对公司的潜力充满信心，他相信自己能让高管们走上一条新的道路。预计讨论将集中在加强西维斯健康运营的战略上，特别是考虑到最近的挑战，包括全年多次下调利润。
此前，西维斯健康下调了全年盈利预期，理由是旗下保险子公司安泰保险(Aetna)所在的医疗福利部门面临压力。这家医疗巨头将其年度利润预期下调至每股6.40美元至6.65美元之间(市场普遍预期为6.54美元)。今年以来，西维斯健康的股价已经下跌了约23%。
