New Silkroutes (SGX:BMT) booked a 204% year-over-year increase in its profit attributable to owners of the company to SG$4.5 million in the quarter ended March 31, from SG$1.5 million in the year-ago period, a filing with the Singapore Exchange said on Friday.
Earnings per share came in at SG$0.218 from SG$0.0072 in the comparable period, the filing showed.
Revenue was down 60% year over year to SG$1.1 million from SG$6.5 million in the year-ago period, mainly due to disposal of its medical and dental clinics in the previous financial year, according to the filing.
