Weir Group to Work on Two Phosphate Projects in Morocco

Weir Group said it won a 25 million-pound ($33.4 million) contract for work on two phosphate projects in Morocco.

The U.K. engineering company said the contract covers the OCP Group's Benguerir and Louta greenfield projects in the country.

Weir will support the continued construction of Louta project and the tripling of production of the Benguerir project, it said.

The order includes a range of slurry pumps and hydrocyclones and the contract will be recognized in the order book during the remainder of the third quarter of 2024, Weir said.
