Ausnutria Dairy Unit to Buy Out Centurion Food's Stake in Joint Venture

A subsidiary of Ausnutria Dairy (HKG:1717) has agreed to acquire the remaining 50% equity stake it does not own in joint venture Dairy Protein Cooperation Food from partner Centurion Food, a Sept. 27 bourse filing said.

Under the deal, Ausnutria B.V. will have to pay Centurion Food a cash consideration of one euro and an outstanding principal amount of the shareholder's loan of 2 million euros, together with any outstanding interest, on behalf of Dairy Protein Cooperation Food.

Dairy Protein Cooperation Food was formed as a joint venture between Ausnutria and Centurion Food in 2019.

Shares of the Ausnutria Dairy closed over 10% higher on Monday.
