智通财经APP获悉，海运股逆市大跌，截至发稿，海丰国际(01308)跌8.86%，报20.05港元；中远海控(01919)跌7.31%，报12.18港元；东方海外国际(00316)跌6.74%，报106.5港元。
消息面上，据媒体报道，美国码头工人在大选前几周举行的大规模罢工对美国供应链构成威胁，但这场罢工在开始几天后现已结束。代表东海岸数以万计的码头工人和航运业的工会就工资问题达成了初步协议，并将一份到期的合同延长至2025年1月15日。花旗此前指出，美国港口罢工若不超一个月将不会对运费产生重大影响。
值得注意的是，高盛发表研究报告，将中远海控的投资评级由“沽售”上调至“中性”，由于近年来地缘政治紧张局势的加剧，增加了航运供应链的复杂性，包括有些航线运输距离变长，令中远海控在内的部分中国航运公司可能会受惠于供应链中断期间的运费高企，推动股本回报率预期提升，并为市账率估值带来支持。
