TrickleStar’s executive director and COO steps down

Following his resignation, Gunananthan Nithyanantham has been redesignated as a non-executive non-independent director of the group.

TrickleStar’s executive director and chief operating officer, Gunananthan Nithyanantham, has tendered his resignation, with effect from Dec 31. 

Following his resignation, Gunananthan will be appointed as a non-executive non-independent director of the group, with effect from Jan 1, 2025. 

Gunananthan was appointed his current position on Jan 1, 2022, overseeing commercial operations, logistics, finance and secretarial functions of the group. 

He took on the additional role of acting CEO on Nov 1, 2022, following the resignation of CEO Bernard Emby. TrickleStar’s Jason Clark has since taken over as CEO, as at Jan 1. 

Gunananthan’s redesignation comes on the back of a recommendation by the group’s nominating committee, which has since been approved by the TrickleStar’s board of directors. 

Shares in TrickleStar closed flat at 5.3 cents on Oct 3.
