Chatham Rock Phosphate (NZE:CRP) received the mining lease for the Korella North mine in Queensland, according to a Tuesday filing with the New Zealand bourse.
The Kiwi miner said small-scale production from the mine can start almost immediately, citing the accessibility of the phosphate rock deposit.
