中信资源(01205)发布公告，已就电解铝厂Portland Aluminium Smelter订立额外电力对冲协议(2026年额外电力对冲协议)。2026年额外电力对冲协议自2026年7月1日起至2035年6月30日止为期九年，并向电解铝厂供应287兆瓦电力。该供电量连同根据2026年电力对冲协议将供应的300兆瓦电力，占该设施每年35.8万吨铝的铭牌容量所需能源高达95%。电解铝厂当前生产该容量的约80%。
预期订立2026年额外电力对冲协议将与2026年电力对冲协议一同为电解铝厂在能源价格将持续波动的具挑战性外部及商业环境下的未来营运提供保障。此外，2026年额外电力对冲协议已包括一项选择权，容许以可再生能源电力采购协议取代该协议项下最多30%的合约供电量，从而使电解铝厂实现负责任生产，进而为可持续发展社会作出贡献。
