5E Advanced Materials (ASX:5EA) received a non-binding letter of interest from the Export-Import Bank of the United States for up to $285 million in debt financing, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The potential duct would have an up to 15-year tenor as the boron and lithium company's Americas complex is designated critical infrastructure by the US' Department of Homeland Security, the filing stated.
5E expects to submit a formal application to the Export-Import Bank in 2025, according to the filing.
