Alibaba (HKG:9988)-owned e-commerce sites Taobao and Tmall will collaborate with JD.com (HKG:9618) in logistics and payment channels, The Standard reported Sept. 27.
Tmall and Taobao will utilize JD.com's logistics beginning in the middle of October. After that, sellers on the Alibaba platforms will be able to select JD.com as a logistics option, according to the report.
JD.com will also be able to use Alibaba's Cainiao Global Express and Cainiao Stations as logistics partners. It will also be allowed to use Alipay as a payment option effective during the Double 11 sale, the report said.
